Plant in full sun once the danger of hard frost has passed. Ranunculus thrive in rich, well-drained soil and reward gardeners with armfuls of blooms in late spring.
Ranunculus are cool-season flowers that perform best in spring temperatures. As weather warms in early summer, plants will naturally begin to go dormant.
After flowering has finished and foliage begins to dry, corms can be gently lifted from the soil, dried, and stored in a cool, dry place for planting again next season.
Each healthy plant can produce multiple blooms, making ranunculus one of the most rewarding flowers for cutting gardens and spring bouquets.
